My name is Jason Krane and I am excited as ever to be the new USY advisor for Beth El Synagogue. I would first like to introduce myself. I started my USY “career” as a member of Bridgewater USY where I was chapter President and held numerous positions on regional general board. After spending time involved in Jewish organizations at the University of Hartford where I completed my undergraduate degree, it reminded me how much of an impact USY made on my high school life during my time in high school. Therefore, following college graduation I became a USY advisor and am excited to enter my fifth year as an advisor and my first year with East Windsor USY.
As a USYer I was very active on the regional level and looking back they were some of the best years of my life. I remember the sadness of missing my friends after Midwinter Convention or the excitement of getting ready for a long week at Encampment. These emotions are the reasons why I love being an Advisor. I now have the opportunity to help current USYers make their own special memories.

Hi I'm Carly Solomon. I'm 15 and sophomore at Hightstown High School. I am the SA/TO for EWUSY. I play golf on my high school's team. My goal for this year is to raise as much money as I can for SA/TO. I am very excited to be this years SA/TO for EWUSY board. I am going to try an make this a very fun year for all EWUSY members. This is my second year in USY and I was in Kadima for three years. The reason I love USY so much is because it strengthens my Jewish identity in ways I cannot explain. USY has become a vital part of my life. If I wasn't in USY I would not be the same person I am today. USY has changed my life and impacted my life. USY has been a place for me to learn all about Judaism and connect on a personal level with Jews close to my age group. USY isn't only a learning experience but it is also a way to make new friends within your same religion.

I ALSO AM AN ENCAMPMENT BABY STARTING ACK IN (3RD) 6TH GRADE. I JUST RECENTLY HAD MY LIFE BLOWN AWAY WHEN I SPENT THIS PAST SUMMER WITH USY ON USY ON WHEEL CLASSIC 2014 #BUSB #USYEVERYWHERE. I ALSO AM APART OF THE GREATEST REGIONS GENERAL BOARD. THE RUACH COMMITTEE. I AM AN AVID RUNNER, ALL THREE SEASONS. PLUS TRAINING FOR THE UNITED STATES MARINES. BUT EVEN WITH THIS IMMENSE SCHEDULE,I HAVE ALWAYS PUT USY FIRST,BECAUSE USY HAS SAVED MY LIFE IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE AND I LOVE EACH AND EVERYONE APART OF USY FOR THAT.
